Building engineer needed for mixed use development in Sugar Land. Responsibilities will include oversight of construction / mainten projects for the development plus provide support to the chief engineer in handling office and retail tenancy needs.
Experience:
Min. 5 years experience in construction supervision. Knowlege of building maintenance and energy management software a plus.
Skills:
Applicants should meet the experience requirements noted above. This position will require the ability to work with a wide array of staff including porters, building engineers, office administration and leasing personnel. This project is class A and extremely busy (pro actively). This position will require the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensure deadlines are met and schedule projects based upon the needs of our clients. Applicants should have an extensive knowlege and the ability to read and implement construction documents to ensure that submittals meet property standards and that work is completed as approved. Applicants should have the ability to competitively bid property maintenance projects as well as oversee contractors scheduled for recurring service(s).
Computer Skills:
Applicants should have a working knowlege of office products including Excel. Applicants should be proficient in Outlook / meeting planner.
Education:
High School degree required / college a plus
